Richard, awesome photo! I love this viaduct which was when opened the highest in the world. I see that it has re-opened and in new color paint and I am very happy to see this! The prototype for this viaduct (and the first major rail project designed by Gustave Eiffel) is, of course, the Ponte Maria Pia railway viaduct in Oporto, Portugal opened in 1877. What a great legacy one of the the most famous engineers of all time has left us.
