Another beautiful shot from your Carrizo Gorge RW series, EL ROCO. These locations would look great with a steam locomotive, circa 1890's-ish.

That was a thought that we had had while walking around - gee this background would look great with a 4-4-0 tea kettle and some civil war era coaches.

Very nice, superb, serie of photos. It seems that the top of the rail is shining, signaling some kind of trafic over this line. Is this true or just a optical illusion, once this line is embargoed since 2008?

It is an illusion of the sky reflecting off the rail head. This is what all the rail head looks like on the 9-10 miles that I looked at it.
