Your series of photos posted here shows that you took quite an adventure. Thanks for sharing. I'm having fun looking at GoogleEarth at the area you were at to see the locations of the photos. If it weren't for your photos, I would have never even known that that old line even existed. Interesting history!

Awesome series. Some would say all but the first are "similar to previous" - glad to see the entire series accepted - very informative and enjoyable viewing!

The photo collection is interesting as you documented your adventure through the Goat Canyon and along the Carrizo Gorge Railway, but at the same time I'm viewing your photos, I can't help but get a little "upset" at seeing the wasted and abandoned railroad equipment that could have been sent elsewhere to be used so it wouldn't be rotting in the canyon! I mean there are a couple of good locomotives that were left there to just rot, with nobody willing to save them..we don't need to save just the whales, we need to save locomotives and railroads too! The photos of the passenger equipment comes to mind too!
