TYpical February MT weather--insanely cold! Great capture, thanks for braving the elements!

Pretty shot, Dave! What is that structure in the background, please, and that fencing?
Posted by Dave Schauer on February 11, 2014
Janusz - the structure in the distance is a sawdust burner for a local lumber operation (not sure if it is still operational). The fence in the far distance is a wind break for BNSF trains along the hill. This area is known for strong winds off the mountains and they found that the wind would topple intermodal containers (and empty freight cars with a high center of gravity).

What a great scenic shot Dave. Cold maybe in the air, but this shot has a nice soothing FEEL to it!

Janusz - it is a Dalek!

I can't imagine being in -40 degree weather, let alone going out in it...waiting for a train to pass by. Nice work Dave.
