What a fun shot! My buddy Karl and I used to go railfanning in a Hornet Sportabout just like the tan one, second on top of the CN car! :)

Nice shot from the Harlem Road bridge. The AMCs are from Toledo, and I hope they aren't going to be humped. At the far right is the nearly twenty five years gone Broadway Drive-in, now the site of a food warehouse complex, which oddly enough has no direct rail access from CSX on the old New York Central, or NS from the Lackawanna/EL/Conrail north side of Bison yard. The poplar trees are gone, too. And please note, photographers, if you care to try to duplicate this shot you will be harassed by the Cheektowaga Police, who will think you are committing suicide or are a terrorist.

@cmdrflake...... I hear ya! I was once set up with camera-tripod and all, taking pics of the old B&O line from a hillside next to an overpass in Portage IN. Here comes a police officer...... he didn't harass tho, he said someone called in about a "jumper" and he had to check it out. Some folks just get too much into their cellphones! LOL I wasn't even ON the bridge.

I wonder if the the lead unit is and "ex" something locomotive, maybe LV. I see some red paint on the visor. Great shot either way. I sure do miss this era.
