Let me guess, this curve must be taken at taken at restricted speed.

Images via a telephoto lens often makes curved track look much sharper than it is. Also note the super-elevation is quite significant. If there is restricted speed here, it perhaps isn't as slow as one would guess from this view.

My track charts show this to be a six degree curve on a 1.85% grade with a maximum speed of 30 mph for passenger and 30 mph for freight trains.
