Some of the UK papers predicted the same thing for us, but so far it hasn't happened yet! Although there has been some flooding during the end of December. you have got a Christmas card type of photograph there. Do I spy a short passenger train on the other line, just behind the trees? Thanks David, yes that's one of the many VIA trains of the day passing by. Though the ice did provide lots of spectacular photo opportunities, I do not wish it upon anyone. There was millions and millions of dollars worth of damage across the province and it left many citizens without power for almost a week.
