Those trains fly through the trees there along "the Rabbit" south of Shreveport...glad that only one crew member received minor injuries. It could have been much, much worse. There's video out there of a train in the Texas panhandle seeing an open switch too late in "dark territory", but they "only" hit a string of cars on the siding. I don't want to imagine what it would be like when you see another locomotive (with attendant train) coming at your own engine in such a situation.
