How is it that the ground to the immediate left of the units has no snow cover, yet the evidence of the blizzard is everywhere else in the photo...?

Perhaps there is no snow near the locos because the area was sheltered by the building seen behind the locos? It seems to be a bit windy judging by the snow blowing of the shovel!

Would like to see her after all that is gone. Hard to believe there would be no damage like to the ditch lights, railings, etc. That snow looks hard as a rock. Also to answer the question about the missing snow to the left, I live about an hour from this location and temps Thursday and Friday were warm enough to allow quite a bit of melting. We also received regular rain Friday which helped quite a bit where it wasn't piled. I know it is hard to believe after below zero temps just 3 days before, but it's true.
