I'm pretty sure that's Franklin Field on UPenn's campus. JFK was well south of the high line.

JFK certainly existed, but it's name at that time was Municipal Stadium.

While it's possible that the newsprint was bound for the Philadelphia Inquirer, I would think it's more likely it was bound for the the Philadelphia Bulletin which was located at 30th and Market near the rail yard in the photo.

Yep, the Bulletin bldg. was just to the left of PRR 30th St. Sta., partly visible at the end of the commuter train. Newsprint probably came into the Inquirer's facility via RDG which was closer.
