I too wish the Pennsy would have saved at least one of the J class locomotives! They were strong and nice looking locomotives. From the rumor I have heard...the Pennsy didn't save any of the J's because they weren't designed by the PRR (war restrictions prevented designing new locomotives during the war, so the PRR adopted the C&O Lima design). Thanks for sharing this great photo John.
