Always wanted to see a PRR "shark" and "centipede" lashed together. Talk about what would have been an unusual menagerie, but "Jaws" would have ended up pulling the larger "Cennie" for the ride, I'm afraid. Is somebody burning oil or just trash behind the shed, there?

OOh! I think this might be my new favorite "Shark" photo. Why didn't you upload this during Shark Week? That would have been awesome. Great Christmas gift too! Thanks for sharing.

Kurt, that is probably a PRR or Santa Fe steamer on the whisker track off the turntable creating the smoke. See the associated photos.. Thanks for commenting.

Those of us who sorta consider ourselves "old heads" sometimes fail to consider that there was a whole generation of diesels that were gone by the mid to late 60s when we started taking pictures. I never saw these units or FTs or C Liners, or FAs or DL109s in operating condition. They were largely disdained by photographers at the time as was color. These shots are real treasures. I enjoyed meeting you at Summerail. Thanks again for sharing.
