I can't believe they bought the Ski Train. It's a shame. At least the coaches are back home.

Yes, it is a shame in some ways. They could've found something much better, but I guess it's all a matter of what they could pick up on the cheap that didn't have overwhelming mechanical issues. They needed something fast as the old fleet was literally falling apart. It's nice that they eventually spent the coin to give it all a really pleasing paint scheme that, while not directly copying the old ACR scheme at least paid homage to it. Of course there will always be the detractors, petty little people that they are, that gripe just because it's not a copy of it. They can't see the bigger picture, that CN wanted to brand it autonomously. No where in the new paint does it mention the defunct Algoma Central, it's branded as the Agawa Canyon Tour Train, plain and simple.
