Oh so they are real locos, I thought that Bachmann just made them up! Great shot, was the fireman (person?) making smoke for photographic effect?

Actually, the smoke was there whether anybody wanted it or not. That batch of coal was one of the worst we had gotten. The firebox could never get hot enough to burn off the volatiles so they escaped unburned.
