There's a lot of interesting colors in this photo! The dark sky contrasts well with the black and white smoke, and the sun light works its wonders highlighting the locomotive, trees and rails. Good job!

What wonderful autumn colours George combined with the sparkling black and red of the 01 Pacifics make a truly superb pair of shots. I think you are a bit out with your dates - 01 150 was famous for taking part in the 100th anniversary of German railways in 1935. It did not appear in 1985 when only four steam locos were allowed on DB metals. Also 01 150, as 001 150, was still working over this line in the last weeks of steam in 1973 (see my photo below) but it was working the Mosel line from Trier in 1971. http://www.railpictures.net/photohistory.php?id=381394
