The refraction of sunset colors through the steam/smoke plume provide color that makes this photo stand out. You laid this out nicely. So much to see. The elevation the train is operating it, the brisk coldness that makes the steam plum fall and the feeling the locomotive will whiz right by. Excellant photography.

Don't think that you've already seen this shot, but there was a similar one of the same location some time ago. IMHO the newer one even excels the former shot, great work.
