Wow, this is great. I was in the south in the 70s courtesy of the US government and I would love to go back. I hear one can travel by rail all the way from Saigon to Hanoi by rail now. Merci!

Great shot. Is that at a steel mill? I was also in the South in 1970-71 in I Corps around Hue and west to the Laos border. Once saw a steam powered passenger train along Highway 1 south of Hue and the roll of film is the only roll of film I took in RVN that never made it back to me. Fascinating find and photo - thanks for posting.
