Some of the NATCOR 18E's are really looking bad, but at least you had a reasonably colourful train behind! Nice shot.

Thanks Eugene. Yes true, 18-052 is looking very tired paintwork wise - a number of the early 18Es do look similar. As you know, these locomotives work extremely hard though and they are constantly in service - perhaps they can't be spared just yet for a respray, hopefully soon! I recently saw a photo from Cape Town of one of the "older" 18Es that had been resprayed in the new red TFR livery, so there is hope.
