"Snakes" is definitely the appropriate word! Nice shot.

This is a great picture! And yes, it does look like a snake!

Thank you for this photo. This is a great capture and the angle reveals just what a long train it is. I live several miles south of here on the eastern shore of the Hudson. I happened to be in Philly that same evening as you shot this and I was standing on the upper level of 30th Street Station after detraining from an Amtrak train that brought me down the Northeast Corridor. While awaiting my commuter/suburban connection, I heard a hissing sound and I turned around and looked up at the 'high line' through Philly and I caught sight of this train making its way through the city. I was delighted to see my first NS Heritage unit and now, thanks to you, I have a sort of souvenir of that memory. Now, if only NS and CSX will allow the New York Central unit to come down the River Line. In the event that they do, may your friend get you an early am tip for that one as well.

I have heard that snakes with a yellow and black stripped head can be the most dangerous. At least this snake has no graffiti on it! Nice shot! PCA nominated.

Thank you everyone for your nice comments and votes. Hats off to Andrew Fletcher for his vision in making these Heritage units come to life and NS for making that vision a reality for all the fans to enjoy!

John: red touch yellow, kill a fellow. Red touch black, venom lack.
