Nice, atmospheric shot Ilya! Reminds me of the good old days before our Environmental Protection Agency cleaned everything up. Don't miss the asthma risk but I miss our smoky old Alco locomotives. Track looks great are those steel ties?

Nice photo, Ilya. The red engines really stand apart from the rest of the scene, but it's not just the color - the engines themselves are pretty wild looking.

Steel tracks are not tied. And some words about Environmental Protection... This concept does not exist on Russian Railways. Russian(Soviet) "TE10" series have Diesel Engine "10D100" - copy of Fairbanks-Morse engine, which was used on American ALCO PA and EMD E-unit.
