I note that this ex-Southern Railway unit is numbered for the Bicentennial. With it's trade in Alco trucks and high short hood with bell and twin Firecracker antennas. This unit is running forward as The Southern intended. Back in it's Southern service, the second antenna would have been to control a set of mid train helpers. There are probably many photos of this unit in S.R. Tuxedo black and imitation silver with gold striping. Does the W & L E know it's former S.R. number.
