Being sent to Cincinnati for software upgrades by SIEMENS and the installation of AESS. Then sent to Corbin, KY for storage. (don't ask me why....)

Interesting shot, but did you have to shoot through your windshield?

I saw a bunch parked at the Motive Power facility in Idaho back in June while I was on vacation. Don't know why they were there.

I notice that every one of these is Blue Flagged, rather than as a group. These probably will be moved out several at a time rather than as one special move. To spend good money to up grade these with rather expensive equipment and then store them, only makes sense if the up grades are done one or two units at a time. Then held until all are completed and placed in service as a group.

Interesting shot and location. All blue flagged and the third unit is apparently being worked on as it has the worker tags attached to the flag. This group came through Atlanta dead in tow recently, headed for Waycross. I do note that this is in the backshop area at Waycross yard in a restricted, no trespassing area.
