I am intimately acquainted with that rusted section, having been part of a team that carried-out a structural survey of it, back in the hot summer of 2003: a great opportunity for sampling the local taverns once the tide curtailed our duties at about 3pm each day! They don't appear to have done very much work on the steels in the meantime, though.
