The 3200's regularly visited Ogden in their early years after displacing the PA1's in passenger service. They also handled the Daylight and other passenger trains until assigned to the Peninsula Commute service where they replaced the Train Masters. Here they frequently handling freight trains over the weekends (as did the Train Masters in their earlier years) and finished their careers in freight service. One notes the passage of time when considering that in this photo the locomotive was only a little younger than the Alcos Train Masters were at their retirements.
