Many years ago the Bluegrass Model Railroad Club traveled to Paducah, Kentucky for a shop tour. The time frame was similar to the date of Joe's photo. While walking from one shop building to another, I happened to glance down, only to get the surprise of my visit. There near the exit laying flat on the ground was part of the cab side of a GM&O GP-30, only the part above the two doors and below the side windows. Truly a fallen flag ! I had a brief thought about asking for it, but being a guest thought better not. To have that piece today would be priceless !
