As a kindergartner, I'd get the other kids mad when I'd hear this (or a freight on this line) coming through a few blocks from my school during recess, and would climb up to the top of our slide and park, just to watch it go by. The other kids just wanted to slide...in retrospect, can't blame them for being upset. (Can't blame myself for wanting to see this, either.)

Neat train, when I read the info on the photo I wondered why the railroad felt the need to use a switch engine and extra crew to move the train to the station instead of just having the crew back the train up.

Troy, it probably had something to do with the employees union agreement.
