Posted by Bob Edmonson on August 23, 2013  738 was an Amtrak locomotive that was painted and lettered for Washington Terminal in the early 2000s as a tribute to former WT employees who joined Amtrak after the company was formed. Washington Terminal was noted for its fleet of Alco RS-1s.
