Somehow the 601 doesn't look as overwhelming with the floor being at rail head height. It's evident that rolling stock, when on properly graded roadbed, becomes almost larger than life due to the "assist" toward the sky! Nice photo.

In person, the 1601 is HUGE!! I first saw this giant when I was about8 years old. Needless to say, I was very impressed!
