Tom this locomotive eventually showed up on the Lexington & Ohio railroad, running between Versailles, Ky. and Lexington, Ky. And was transferred to R.J. Corman's Central Kentucky Lines when Mr. Corman bought the L & O. It was used for a short time in the same service. A while later it was no longer in use, however I spent some time looking for it, only to find most of it's body parts, every thing above the frame in the Lexington, Ky yard. It's reusable parts, prime mover, main generator, air compressor, etc. were probably stored on site. It's frame, trucks and fuel tank most likely were sent to Altoona, Pa. to become the basis for a Rail Power gen-set locomotive. She did look very nice with the G & O herald on the nose centered in the white band and Lexington & Ohio on the side also on the white band.

Don't think this is from 76. There are Gulf and Ohio Locomotives in the background, I don't think that company even existed till the mid 80s.
