I have been most fortunate not only to see this display of Oliver Bulleid's brilliant engineering at the NRM, I have even had a cab ride in one of his locomotives. I know there was a lot of gnashing of railfan teeth that this locomotive would never again be able to steam but I side on those who feel the educational value of this display far outweighs the loss.
