All I can offer on this one is "WOW!!!!" I have seen so many really amazing pictures go through here, I have really liked many of them over those years and voted for them but, this one to date has to be on the top of the list. Absolutely incredible contrast, the sky, the bare trees, it says "OLD" with a capital "O". Nice job, hope you get POTW/PCA, sorry you did not get a SC though, this one deserved it for sure. Keep 'em coming and thanks for sharing this with us.

This is an absolute stellar B&W image, this would not work in color. This scene screams B&W, and you did a great job.

Your processing does make this one stand out indeed. You took this picture out of the "choo-choo" realm and made a statement of the evanescence of life.

I was in Chama on May 25 and almost walked over and took this shot. This shot would not look right in color. Your choice to take this in Black and White is a great use of the Camera and Imagination. It gives a look of age which is correct for the subject. Great Picture.

I love this photo for it's beauty of aging and for another reason too. It may appear that this is a sad end for these two remarkable engines, but remember this, they were used beyond repair and now the many usable parts that they still had/have are being used to allow similar engines to continue to give pleasure to many, many, people
