I REALLY LIKE the "paint scheme." Amtrak could certainly improve the appearance of their locomotives by making the red, white & blue (without the stars) striping on this unit the "System Standard" paint scheme.

There is only one thing wrong with this photo and that is the engine number should be number 50 for the fiftiest anniversary. Thank you AMTRAK for what you are doing. I was not in Vietnam, however, a great many of my friends were. Again I say thank you.

There is a book where 42 is the answer to the question about life, the universe, and everything. Who knows, maybe the number choice means more to some arcane mind somewhere than we know.
