Pretty livery. Am pretty sure it dates back to at least 1980s remembering a Model Railroader magazine article from back then as a time reference.

The Aberdeen & Rockfish paint scheme has been essentially the same since the delivery of EMD F3As Nos. 200-201 in 1947 and 1948. The lightning stripe on the cab was not featured on those engines. There are other minor modifications to fit the scheme to hood units, and they added the "The Road of Personal Service" slogan, but no big changes have been made.
