That 122 year old viaduct will, more than likely, outlast that brand new highway bridge on the left. They just don't build 'em like they used to.

It seems that before great works will be built to last for ever, this great viaduct is an example. It has survived two earthquakes that are within the largest and hard of world history, one of them is the Valdivia earthquake and Malleco, the largest in history with 9.6 degrees Richter and 11 Mercalli.
