This is beautiful. I would add this building to the list of great 'restored' train stations: Grand Central Terminal in NY, Cincinnati Union Terminal, Union Station in Washington, D.C. and Union Station in L.A., to name a few. Thanks for bringing us this photo.

Seeing pictures of the "new" passenger station in Seattle makes me want to take a train ride back to Seattle again, just to look at this gorgeous station.

It was modernized in about the 50's with false ceilings, fluorescent lighting, etc. and slowly let run down. It's still sort of Plain Jane from the outside except for the clock tower. But inside! Thanks for the superwide of the entry hall.
