I remember when they strayed into Florida on the FEC in the '80s when I was a teenager. Strange horn, running long hood forward blasting southbound. Interesting sight and change even when the FEC was still all blue and all 4 axle power, including the GP9s

If you didn't know any better, one would think at first that these two old girls were fresh out of a paint booth and been readied for a museum excursion trip. Wow, just simply amazing. The old GE B units and Universal or U-Boats ( the most hated term for GE designers), were just simply ahead of their time. Great picture!
