Walking in the pit, George! You were a brave man. That black dirt was scary. As we've discussed, my dad and I were out yard hopping that same day. Too bad we didn't run into you. Great image.

I was a hostler here at this time,I probably saw you guys.I mostly worked the diesel side.The inbound engineer would stop behind the photographer,then I would climb aboard,get it moving,then drop the pans and drift up to a stop where you see it now.
