This is a common move here. The Andrew Barcley Co. in Kilmarnock refurbished D.M.U.s and those from England came up by road. It was not uncommon to see one of theses coaches on a "low loader" trundling up or down the M74 and M6. It is actually cheaper to do it this way, than to try and move them by rail. I think the inmates have taken over the asylum.
