Likely not Niagara Falls, as that line was, unfortunately, closed in 1948. More likely this is in Merritton or St. Catharines at this time.

This is a truly FASCINATING piece of equipment. I would assume that the newer orange "trailer" would have contained a generator for operating under "cold" wire.
