Very nice! That 9819 is a super rare catch too. I don't think I've ever seen a shot of a former passenger unit that got painted into solid green and kept its passenger number. There were several that were renumbered into the freight series and kept their white stripe scheme until their next repainting. Your note that it was renumbered into the freight series that same month makes one think that perhaps the paint shop missed the renumbering on the work order.

The exhaust stack directly above the cab of the 6110 is Stall 11 of the roundhouse. Stall 11 is where GN and BN painted locomotives and rolling stock. A couple I can think of being painted in Superior are GN SD7 558 back in March 1966 and BN GP5 1364 after being rebuilt by the Superior roundhouse crew as a result of a trip off an open span in the MN/WI draw in August 1971.
