Sure could use some new jacketing! I'll bet every spectator that is not an avid railfan likely believes that is just how this looked when it ran. Nice job by the crew, none-the-less. Thanks for sharing. Looks a little out of place in NJ, doesn't it?

Very nice shot indeed. I wouldn't say the 385 looks out of place in New Jersey at all. During the 385's and 4039's operation on the Morris Coutny Central I think New Jersey railfans and general public alike, began to embrace these locomotives. I think the 385 is just at home in New Jersey as she would be in the South. Its nice to see a fresh coat of paint on her as well as on her old stomping grounds at Whippany NJ.
