Beautiful Image of my favorite locomotive. Well exposed and sharp. Unfortunately your caption needs correcting. The 7002 is not really a "sister" locomotive, more like a "cousin" maybe. The #7002 is a different wheel arrangement. It's a 4-4-2 "Atlantic" type engine where as #1223 is a 4-4-0 "American" type engine. On the "Pennsy" Locomotives are classed according to their wheel arrangement, A 0-4-0 is an A class, a 0-6-0 is a B class, a 0-8-0 is a C class, a 4-4-0 is a D class, and the 4-4-2's where the E class. This system continued on as the wheel arrangements grew until the T class which had a 4-4-4-4 wheel arrangement. For more information see books like "Pennsy Power" and "Pennsy Power 3" by Al Stauffer.
