The railfan press has long complained about Binghamton, New York as a cloudy place, but northern Vermont and the nearby White Mountains is the real cloud capital of the Northeast! Still, the variety here in Saint J always made the long drive from New Jersey well worth it.
8401 was one of CP's few units built at Alco Schenectady rather than MLW.
