Now this is a location and a sight I am very familiar with. Not far from this location of this fantastic shot is the spot where the Great Locomotive Chase came to an end.

Yes it is. And you are right, just a few miles away is where The General was captured. Most do not know that the monument that is still standing has a large bronze plaque attached to it. In the 1980's, somebody dynamited it and blew it off; and stole it. However, it was later recovered, found somewhere out in the wood. It was placed back on the concrete monument; and as far as I know is there to this day!
