But now that I read the abouve comment, I will probably start seeing the "Humpback Whale" from now on. Nice to see that NS left the original road company letters below the cab number. Sometimes I wonder what rail line some of the older locomotiives were originally assigned to before NS took control. Just when I thought I got all of the older Southern Railroad locomotives identifies, BAM, another pops up. But, that adds to the fun of finding something new. Posted by Joshua Clark on January 28, 2013  Why does it have Pennsy reporting marks? The Pennsylvania and the Penn Central for that matter, where gone long before these units debuted I believe.
