I hope it can be restored. I drove past this station several times back in the 90's and thought of seeing it close up, especially the interior. Being in a suit and the high fences with razorwire kept me from any attempt to get closer. I'm sure the interior is as well appointed as the several other old rail stations I've seen over the years. I was surprised vandalism hadn't destroyed it back then and even more surprised it still stands today. Says a lot about how well it was constructed. There has to be a place in our business world today for such a piece of history. A mini mall, a conference center with hotel rooms, etc. Please keep info and pics coming, especially if restoration is started. I have no reason for returning to Buffalo these days, but seeing restoration being done on the staion would justify the drive.

Restoration of the terminal is ongoing. I am helping with the work. We are there every Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Stop by and introduce yourself and we will let you have a look.
