Hey it's the BarfBonnet!

I'm so glad this is /not/ the scheme we see today on thousands of BNSF locomotives...

I don't think it's THAT bad. I've certainly seen much worse, applied to entire fleets!

It sure looks better here than the crusty locomotive that it is now. Gee, couldn't imagine why management wasn't pleased! Who thought of this paint scheme?!

Actually, I like this scheme much better than the H2 and H3 schemes now. H1 and this scheme would make BNSF more unique.

I actually like this better than the goofy orange and green used on the BNSF now

Hey, the one color paint jobs we have now (UP, BN, and NS) aren't even schemes!

Orange nose, Dark Green body (GN colors but keep warbonnet), Dark Green herald on nose (but a tad smaller), Yellow lettering on sides (but CB&Q style), Yellow striping. What did i miss? Hey, i tried! LOL

It's the lettering on the side that bothers me more than the paint scheme. I think if the size & font of the lettering were different and it was all on one line, like " Burlington Northern / Santa Fe" it could have been much more acceptable. I don't have a gripe with the colors at all.

This is the very first unit to use the BNSF logo.

I like H3 better, and I got some bad nes about this unit. It's going to Relco Locomotives in Albia, Iowa to be repainted in H3 paint, and they already started repainting it last month, and it should be finished by this Summer.

Personally I love this scheme. I saw her 3 times in this scheme and wish I had a camera to capture one of those moments.
