I see that lil black caboose hiding at the end of the train. I was grown before I realized that every caboose wasn't painted brick yard red. Hard to resist a picture with a caboose in it. Love the old pictures. Thanks for sharing them.

I love the longevity of the EMD units on the Grande. The SD9s lasted from 1957 to 1991, and were never rebuilt. The GP30s also lasted into the D&RGW/SP era...I really like your shots. I'm glad someone preserved this time frame...
