Ptarmigan Point is notable in snowfighting lore in other locales--Rollins Pass, CO for example. The battle with old man winter was similar on Rollins back in those days, too. Awesome shot!

I wouldn't say that there is no water. Just none that isn't frozen. If they could only find an easy way to melt some of that snow.
