It's too bad they won't keep high hoods around... I used to hate the high hood look, now its my favorite, above all.

In the EMD parts catalog, these were referred to as SP plows. SOU rounded off the upper outside corners to facilitate easier boarding "on the fly", a procedure no longer practiced. None-the-less, a rare catch in the days of SHE forward.
